Balázs Szövényi-Lux is a Film Director, Writer and Editor. After finishing his bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Science in Hungary, he studied at the Edinburgh College of Art, where he received his MFA in Film Directing. Balázs has always had a strong connection to different kinds of arts. As a child, he used to write short novels, draw and paint, and create plays. He decided to be a film director at the age of eleven, while making a two-hour long film based on the first book in the Harry Potter series, which he created with plasticine puppets and sets made from shoe boxes. His passion for the arts and storytelling led him to work on a variety of award-winning projects across different mediums. He aims to evoke emotions and create strong visual experiences.
